If every 8-year old in the world is taught meditation, we will eliminate violence from the world within one generation.

Children are often keen to learn new things. Introducing mindfulness from an early age can support them in their physical and emotional development. With a little imagination, we can invite them to explore the magical world of meditation. Through meditative practice, the children in the video are able to reflect and respond, rather than react. These are the foundations for a calmer and more peaceful existence. For us all. Healthy habits from our families carry through into adulthood. Mindfulness is a life skill. If you would like to learn meditation and to share this wisdom with your child please contact me for a free consultation. I will design a practice that is just right for you and your family.
As one of 9 children, it came as no surprise to my family when I decided to follow in my grandmother’s footsteps and become a nanny and post natal doula. Throughout my career, I experienced almost every aspect of raising children. I appreciate the pressures of modern-day parenting: Working full time and juggling schedules, kid-friendly meals, sleep problems, tantrums and other practical challenges. Not to mention the bigger picture of raising healthy, well-adjusted beings. This is why mindfulness and meditation became some of the most important discoveries of my personal and professional life.
How would life be if your children swapped reactionary behaviours for a pause or a breath?
